1. The Service
SocialAPI provides a REST API and real-time streaming service for reading public X (Twitter) data. You access the service via an API key and are billed in credits per request. We serve only publicly accessible data, are not affiliated with, and do not represent X Corp.
2. Accounts & API Keys
You must register an account and keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for all usage and charges under your keys, including from leaked keys. Reselling or sharing keys with unauthorized third parties is prohibited. You are responsible for complying with applicable law when using the service.
3. Billing & Credits
The service is pay-as-you-go and charges only for successful (HTTP 200) requests. Credits are purchased via crypto top-up at 1 USD = 100,000 credits. Credits are non-withdrawable and non-refundable except where required by law. Cache-hit requests are billed at the same rate — you receive the same data. Pricing may change with prior notice.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, spam, privacy invasion, circumventing X's reasonable restrictions, or placing abusive load on our infrastructure. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for abuse.
5. Data & Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of completeness, accuracy, or continuous availability. Changes to the X platform may affect the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service, and our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the event.
6. Trademarks & Affiliation
SocialAPI is an independent third-party service. We are not affiliated with, associated with, partnered with, endorsed by, or authorized by X Corp. (formerly Twitter, Inc.). "X", "Twitter", and related names and logos are trademarks of X Corp., used on this site solely in a descriptive sense to identify the source of the data this service reads, and no trademark claim is made. This service reads only publicly visible information on X; we provide no write, posting, or account-action capability, and we never ask for your X account credentials. If you need the official API, please visit X's developer platform.
7. Changes & Termination
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate service if you breach these terms.
